RealRawNews admits they publish fake stories to fool Conservatives. [killJAB]
The guy who writes all the articles on Real Raw News told NewsGuard "It's a satire site, exposing the insanity of rabid Trumpists (who lack the mental wherewithal to distinguish fact from fiction)"
I saw this meme a while ago and decided to do some research. The image for it was likely captured from this 2017 YouTube video. The text states:
"This is Michael Tuffin, aka Michael Baxter, the guy who writes all the articles on Real Raw News. He told Politico "It's a satire site, exposing the insanity of rabid Trumpists (who lack the mental wherewithal to distinguish fact from fiction)". He's a leftist POS, funded by George Soros, who used to write a lot of crazy stuff for niburutruth.net and hosts another site called twistedtruth.net that's even worse than RRN."
This meme can be fact checked false, on a technicality. It is ONLY false because the (accurately quoted) response Baxter gave was to NewsGuard [archive] (not Politico). I didn’t find anything related to Politico, but I did find a long PolitiFact article [archive] (mirrored at Poynter [archive]). Yes, I took one for the team and read PolitiFact, and NewsGuard. I didn’t find anything connecting him to Soros. He probably wouldn’t need a gofundme if he was funded.

With all the dishonest propaganda and MSM fake narrative cheerleading PolitiFact is famous for I was surprised to find that they published a real unbiased fact check with a bunch of digging (real journalism). Some Highlights:

As part of its review of Real Raw News, NewsGuard reached out to the email address that was connected to a PayPal account on the website. (The PayPal link is no longer listed on the site.) NewsGuard received a reply from an email account named "Twisted Truth."
"It's a satire site, exposing the insanity of rabid Trumpists (who lack the mental wherewithal to distinguish fact from fiction)," the email from Twisted Truth said.
The author of Twisted Truth, which has not posted an article since February 2020, also goes by "Michael Baxter." And his biography on Twisted Truth matches what he wrote on Real Raw News.
PolitiFact found an interview with a mask wearing “Michael Baxter” and contacted the source, David Grieg.
David Grieg has a YouTube channel to debunk online claims.
Baxter challenged Greig to a live debate about Nibiru and other related topics.
Grieg agreed. The video is below. Baxter hides his face.

But Grieg had old videos of Baxter saved

With searches for "Michael Baxter" and "Nibiru News," PolitiFact unearthed more information about the man behind Real Raw News and the other sites. And in Baxter’s own comments on the Real Raw News site’s more than 150 articles, he shared scattered details about himself that aligned with our other research.
Most importantly, buried beneath one March article that made claims about Hillary Clinton, Guantanamo and a psychedelic drug popular with QAnon, PolitiFact found a link to a GoFundMe set up in March that raised more than $10,000 for Real Raw News.
The drug they linked is “Adrenochrome”, white rabbit, etc, you can figure out what that is on your own. It’s not a popular psychadelic, it’s creepy. It’s just bizarre to me that PolitiFact would say that it’s a popular drug.
The GoFundMe’s organizer was listed as being from Irving, Texas. But the organizer’s name wasn’t "Michael Baxter." It was Michael Tuffin.
Court filings and public records revealed a Michael Tuffin whose identifying information aligned with what was on a GoFundMe created for "Nibiru News" and a Skype profile Baxter used, as well as with comments Baxter made about himself on Real Raw News.
PolitiFact reached out to Tuffin, and also to his brother, in order to provide Tuffin an opportunity to comment. Shortly after, Real Raw News tweeted about inquiries to his family from "MSM watchdogs."
"As we dig deeper, and hit harder, the political elite and their MSM watchdogs are getting desperate and trying desperately to shut us down .... to the point my immediate and non-immediate family are getting harassed," the account wrote. "We will keep fighting."
I don’t know what percentage of RRN’s posts are fake, but reading the authors own words about his intentions help. The creator and author of “Real Raw News” describes his site as an intentionally satirical site designed to make fun of “rabid Trumpists” who live in a fantasy world and are too stoopid to discern real from fake news.
I don’t think it’s just his made up word “Trumpists” who he is targeting (whatever that means, do we call crazy democrats Bidenists?). Based on the articles when he says “Trumpists” I think it’s just his dirty word for conservatives. Seems like a lot of the articles are targeted at conservative patriotic values. There is a growing group of non-political people who think for instance that Fauci should legitimately be arrested. It’s not just “Trumpists” it’s people who don’t want to be injected with Fauci’s poison jiggle juice. It’s people who don’t want Weimar Republic level inflation, etc.
I feel like the loonie sheep live in a much larger fiction land. They have 1000’s of “Real Raw News” feeding them 24/7. Their versions of RRN are CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, MSDNC, NYT, WP, CNBC, (it’s a long list). Those places all constantly publish fake stories that the Rabid Sheep (who lack the mental wherewithal to distinguish fact from fiction) ARE exposed by. They aren’t exposed to themselves of course, they are exposed to everyone else, the logical rational people who can recognize political hypocrisy, gaslighting, medical malfeasance, and the attempted destruction of the economy and society.
Personally, I don’t mind that Tuffin runs an intentionally fake site. He is allowed. Honestly, it’s kind of funny. I have been fooled. When I didn’t notice the url or source and looked at an RRN headline I initially considered it as a plausible story. I might get fooled again. I think today I just saw an article about the IRS opening a “sniper school with 5,000 sharpshooters”. I hope he keeps posting so people can stay reminded to double check and corroborate sources.
If you were fooled by a fake story. You got punked. Be better. You should consider Tuffin’s attempts to goof on you as training. It’s a good reminder to always check sources and think critically, especially about yourself and your beliefs. And know your weaknesses.
As the swamp gets more desperate and more panicked the lies across all media will intensify. If we can’t overcome the novice challenge RRN presents to our discernment then we need a lot more practice. If conservatives are fooled by RRN then what makes us any smarter than all those who are fooled daily by CNN?

Great article, more in depth than expected and cant say its not worthy of consideration, however being a RRN enthusiast for a couple of years, I am conviinced that there is truth on the site in some amount. What I noticed and have had to point this out to others often, after a RRN report of some villain being arrested and Gitmo'd, they SEEM to disappear from the public forum. Yes there are copies/clones/masked "stand-ins" but they are not nearly as vocal and IN YOUR FACE as before their sequestration. I am also aware that many sites like my favorite TV show Law & Order, will notify its viewing public that their stories are fiction and not representative of actual events or people... this caveat shields them from lawsuits. The Babylon Bee is similar
