Excuse me, but I live in NZ and have been part of the medical freedom movement from the beginning of the pandemic. I have studied excess death figures in great detail. Proving they exist requires careful analysis of all the data. I would be very wary of any claims made by Liz Gunns whistleblower. This could end up very ugly for the would-be politician. The numbers do not support her claim. At worst, in 2022 we had 4000 excess deaths. So far in 2023, we had about 1500 in the first 6-months, but this evaporated when winter arrived and deaths trended lower. They have started to rise again in spring, which is unusual. It is very likely that the high death rate among the 70+ age group in 2022/2023 has depleted the stock of vulnerable people. This called the pull-forward effect.
