While I agree that fiat money is mostly dishonest today, I argue in the post below, that the history of money and rational progression has led us to a dollar-led fiat money world order. A return to the gold standard or an SDR (special drawing rights) based financial system is the best way forward in my opinion. I don't think we will realistically be rid of national central banks and fiat currency given the way incentives are lined up at the moment.
