Dear SuperSpreader— It is good to draw attention to this messaging. It’s a technique to overwhelm people when they are vulnerable or fatigued and loosing executive function — this persistent prodding and pushing and even pleading too often succeeds. It’s a technique used by abusers and predators on children, young women and men, the elderly, and the desperate on a bad day. It’s a favorite of the Evil One and seen in scripture at the point dear Jesus had finished his 40 day fast in the wilderness desert. The Lord turned away from the 3 temptations, saying finally “Jesus said to him, ‘Away from me, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God and serve him only’”(Matt 4:10) and the devil left Him. This is our answer still. We must warn each other, as you do, on the devil’s tactic—and say the Scripture in reply, remembering always to say, “God is great, God is great, God is great” and those words of our faith that give agony to the devil’s ears. Have faith that the praise and worship voiced aloud for The Owner of the Universe gives forceful rebuke to the spiritual evil doers. BREATH (Holy Spirit) and SPEAK Scripture — your tongue is powerful Spiritually, neurologically, socially — and this is exactly what Jesus used. Speak Truth to the pretenders…best words are the Master’s! If you have been jabbed, you have at least as much reason to claim the sword of Spirit 💜
