I certainly agree with your last statement that we, the consumers, make the choice individually to force the change. But the MAHA movement will be critical in changing attitudes through re-education that is now stymied by government regime supported information pushed by the mega food suppliers.
Thank you for this. I knew nothing of the Non-GMO label. I was told by a local produce shop owner a while ago that USDA Organic allows “post-harvest spraying” of synthetic pesticides. Is this true? How else has the USDA Organic label been diluted from more stringent organic imprimaturs such as MOGFA (here in Maine)?

That is what I understand also. That "USDA Organic" is diluted and still allows some questionable unhealthy things.
