I will be working to catch up over the weekend. Here are a some of the news highlights from my down time over the last month.

I am finally making my way back. Appreciate the patience. My computer has been restored as well as it’s going to be for now. Thank you George again for the generous donation. Over the past two weeks I restored over half a dozen times and tried everything until I finally realized it wasn’t me, it’s iCloud. iCloud is full of bugs, especially when you need to upgrade through multiple versions of macOS. My iCloud syncing is still a mess and also my extensive Reminders list got corrupted. I researched and apparently corrupted reminders have been a problem for years since Apple forced everyone to upgrade to a new reminders format. They have had this problem all along but still haven’t fixed it.
This is a good time to mention that it is important to have a good backup protocol. If you are on Mac set up time machine at least. I use both time machine and Carbon Copy Cloner. I was fortunate I kept daily backups. If I had relied purely on iCloud I would have lost a bunch of files.
I missed about four weeks of posting. I picked a handful of links from that time period for tonights post. I hope to catch up fully over the weekend.
Besides helping expand newly-curious minds with interesting links, part of my goal is to have an archive saved of alternative and/or marginalized stories. That way if someone wanted to see what happened exactly a year ago they could just search the date and find a post from that day with roughly 30 links. A “time machine” of red pills you might say. Importantly every link from that day is also itself archived. So, for those stories that get disappeared, readers can still find an archived version of them.

All kinds of stuff was happening; Marthas Vineyard, Truth Social app rose to #1, we found out there is a Moderna and Pfizer PR firm with staff embedded at the CDC, California may divide into two states.
I just mention this because if you ever wonder what was happening on a particular date you can search my archive with the date in the format “yyyy-mm-dd”. You can also get on my telegram channel and search in the same way.
