Catherine Austin Fitts, Publisher of The Solari Report, raises some concerns she has about the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve. Even if you don't agree she is super smart and is worth listening to.
Give me a break. As if there’s an asset, any asset, that the rich and powerful will not manipulate and exploit. But Bitcoin in the title might get more clicks I guess. Bitcoin, by its nature, is a bearer asset accessible to the hoi polloi without authoritarian middle men breathing down one’s neck. Miss Fitts isn’t worried about nouveau Bitcoin billionaires gobbling up the land and the gold. She’s worried about nouveau Bitcoin billionaires giving today’s Robber Barons, the big tech oligarchs, a run for their stinking blood money.
I apologize for the short statement. I started writing, was interrupted and then forgot to comeback and finish. I'm not sure how the comment even got posted as my screen was blank when I returned. I was actually quoting someone else. I have this information though since you asked. This comes to me via my son when he was teaching me about it. I'm still learning so you're gonna get the copy/pasta.
Want to understand Bitcoin better?
Bitcoin is often misunderstood, but at its core, it’s not just an investment—it’s a revolutionary form of money. It’s the hardest and most reliable form of money we’ve ever had access to. (Hardness refers to how well something holds its value over time and its suitability as money.)
I’ve put together a list of short videos to help you build a solid understanding of Bitcoin and its role in the world of money. These videos also explain key concepts about money in general, which will help you see the bigger picture.
If you’re just getting started, I suggest you watch the 4th video first—it’s a real gem and lays a strong foundation for understanding how money works. After that, you can dive into the rest to deepen your knowledge. Here’s the list:
1. What Bitcoin is, the problem it solves, and why it matters:
Most people don’t understand these concepts and will fall victim to the effects of flawed monetary systems. But by learning how money works and how Bitcoin fits into the picture, you’ll have a solid foundation to make smarter decisions for your financial future.
Take your time with these videos. Once you watch them, you’ll see why Bitcoin is so unique and why it’s much more than just an investment.
